Conscious Parenting NI
New here? A short intro — read it, or press play to listen

Welcome — and well done for being here. Whether your children are in school or learning at home, you belong.

Most of us raise our children the way we were raised, doing what everyone else does, without stopping to ask if there's a better way. Conscious parenting is simply choosing, on purpose, to be the best parent you can be — and getting a little better every day. The tools are all right here, so there's no excuse: just pick one small thing and begin.

The Great Traditions

Twelve whole ways of raising and teaching a child — what each one actually believes, what a day in it looks like, and what you could try this week. Nobody shows a parent these before they have to choose. Read one and you will already be ahead.

and nine more — Charlotte Mason, Reggio Emilia, Forest School, Classical, Wild + Free, Unschooling, Alpha School, Athenian and Roman.

Every day

The things to reach for right now — play, cook, get out, travel well, read together, and turn a tricky day around.

Be part of it

Let's raise them well, together

The hard part of taking your children's upbringing back into your own hands was never the teaching. It is ending up on your own — no other parents, no friends for the children, nobody to hand a difficult week to. That is a large part of why families hand the day over in the first place, and it is the thing we are building against: other families first, then the best of every tradition, the tools, the hours outdoors, and somewhere for parents to work while the children play. Leave your email and we'll keep you close as it grows.

No spam, ever — just the occasional note as things grow.

Our other apps

All free, all made here in Northern Ireland, no ads and no sign-ins — the same as this one. They all live together on one page at NI Apps, which is the easiest thing to hand to somebody.

Get the app in two taps

Free, no app store, no sign-in. It goes on your home screen and opens full screen like any other app.

That is it. Nothing else to do.
